QR codes for real estate agents

A buyer standing in front of a sign at 8 pm will not call. They will scan. Give them the listing, the photos and a way to reach you in one tap.

Codes worth printing

Signs, flyers and window cards

A yard sign is read from the pavement, so the code has to be large: as a rule of thumb, about one tenth of the scanning distance. For a sign read from 3 metres, that is roughly 30 cm. Our size calculator works it out for any distance.

Print with a vector file (SVG, PDF or EPS) so the sign maker can scale it without blur, and keep strong dark-on-light contrast. Reflective or glossy laminate can blind a camera in direct sun, so test outdoors before ordering a batch.

One sign, many listings

Signs and riders are expensive and get reused. With an editable code, the same physical sign can point to whichever property it stands in front of. Change the link when you move it.

Know which sign brings the leads

Use one editable code per sign or flyer batch. Scan stats show the time, city and device of each scan, so you can see whether the sign on the busy street or the flyer in the café actually gets looked at.

On Pro, destination rules can show returning visitors a different page from first-time visitors, or route scans by language and device.

Questions

About one tenth of the distance people scan from. A sign read from 3 m needs a code around 30 cm wide. The QR code size calculator gives the exact figure for your distance.

If it is editable, point it at your next listing or your profile. If it is static, it keeps opening the old listing page for as long as that page exists.

Yes, for editable codes. Each scan is counted with the time, approximate city and device type.
