Send scans to different links (rules and A/B tests)
Under Rules on a code page you can route scans by country, continent, device, system, browser, in-app browser, language, referrer, time, date, new or returning visitor, or scan number. Rules are checked in order; the first match wins.
Any target can be split for an A/B test with weights. The same visitor always lands on the same variant, without cookies.
Use the simulator under the rules to check where a given visitor would go before you save.
Examples
Send iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play. Show visitors from France the French page. Open the lunch menu before 3 pm and the dinner menu after. Send scans outside opening hours to a booking form. Show a welcome-back page to returning visitors.
Each code can have up to 20 rules, and each rule up to 10 conditions. Rules are part of Pro.
When the country or device is unknown
Some scans arrive without a country, for example through a VPN. An "is one of" condition never matches an unknown value and an "is not one of" condition always does, so unknown scans fall through to the next rule or to the default link. Make sure the default link is a page that works for everyone.
