Which file format to download

PNG, JPG and WebP are pictures: good for screens, documents and most printing. SVG, PDF and EPS are vector files that stay sharp at any size: send these to your printer.

Before printing, check the scan score under the preview and test with two phones.

How big should the code be?

For cards and flyers read up close, make the code at least 2 cm wide. For posters and signs, a good rule is one tenth of the scanning distance: a code read from 2 metres should be about 20 cm wide. Leave a clear margin around it.

Raster files (PNG, JPG, WebP) go up to 4096 px. For anything printed larger than a postcard, use SVG, PDF or EPS.
