Using your own domain
On Pro, open Domains and add a subdomain such as go.yourbrand.com. At your DNS provider, add the CNAME record shown, then press Verify. It can take up to an hour for DNS to update.
Once connected, pick the domain on a code page. The printed pattern changes with the domain, so download the code again. Codes printed with our standard short link keep working.
Bare domains (yourbrand.com without a subdomain) cannot be connected because they cannot carry a CNAME record.
If verification fails
Check that the record is a CNAME, that its name is only the subdomain part (for example go, not go.yourbrand.com at some providers), and that no other record uses the same name. Then wait a little and press Verify again: some providers take a while to publish changes.
Good to know
You can connect up to 5 domains. Visitors who open the bare subdomain, with no path, can be sent to a page of your choice, such as your website. Your main website and email are not affected.
